I thought while I have a spare moment I would finally update my blog... We welcomed Paige into our family very quickly on Monday April 20!! At 5:30 am we arrived at the hospital. It was so exciting to know that our little girl was on her way, I was dilated to a five. Our labor and delivery nurse was one of our past neighbors which was so nice. She did a wonderful job. Dr. Fowers happened to be at the hospital performing a c-section so at 6:24 am he came to check on how far I had come to see if he should stay and wait or go home. I was dilated to a seven by then so he decided to stay. Paige was delivered (all NATURAL) at 6:29 am on the bed.... They had me pant just so Dr. Fowers had time to put on 1 of his gloves. It was quick, painful, and worth every minute. She is an adorable addition to our family.
Jacob did a wonderful job in the delivery! I am so lucky to have the man of my dreams to bring a delightful family into this world with me. Now, I just have to adjust to the new sibling rivalry the boys have decided to add to our everyday life just as we bring home baby and no longer have a free hand to stop them.
Ready to go home, but not happy about it!
